Sections of the Airport Express in Hong Kong were suspended on Sunday due to trespassing and foreign objects on the track near the Airport Station. A large group of protesters hurled iron poles, bricks and rocks on the railway near the Airport Station, while some even broke into the track, according to the police.

On Saturday night, protesters set a big fire in the middle of the road between the Hong Kong SAR government's central office and the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison at about 7:30 p.m. local time. Witnesses said some rioters threw petrol bombs at the police.
