Carrie Lam, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), said she will not resign and still has confidence in being able to lead Hong Kong out of this difficult time, after two months of protests. The priority now is to stop violence and restore peace in Hong Kong as soon as possible.
