The first-ever flower-and-tree themed exhibition opened in the Palace Museum on September 3 in Beijing, reflecting China's appreciation and philosophy of the plant world. It features more than 300 exhibits from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties from 960 to 1911, with 307 precious relics and paintings and wash paintings done by court and professional painters.
