Ivan Lam detained at Hong Kong airport for inciting others to join illegal assembly

Hong Kong activist Ivan Lam was detained by Hong Kong police on Tuesday when he returned to Hong Kong, according to local media.

The police arrested a 25-year-old male, surnamed Lin, at the Hong Kong International Airport on Tuesday. The man was arrested on charges of “inciting others to knowingly participate in unauthorized assembly,” according to news verified by Hong Kong police.
