When September arrives, students in Hong Kong are all supposed to be returning to schools for a new semester. Protesters organized several rallies on Monday to call for a city-wide strike, including boycotting school. But with Hong Kong gripped by the three-month-long protests, schools are also affected. For the students, the violent summer may bring some psychological damage and emotional turbulence. Regarding schools, there have been demonstrations at some universities, with students skipping class to make their voices heard. What kind of role should education play in all this?
