Britain's Brexit minister Steve Barclay and his ministerial team take questions in parliament before House of Commons leader Jacob Rees-Mogg announces on behalf of the government what will be discussed in parliament next week. On Wednesday, British lawmakers rejected a motion tabled by Prime Minister Boris Johnson calling for a general election on October 15. As the Brexit delay bill was approved by the House of Commons, it would force the prime minister to ask Brussels for a delay to prevent a no-deal Brexit.
