The three-day Eastern Economic Forum kicked off in Vladivostok on Wednesday. Russia has been hosting the meeting in the Pacific coast city since 2015 to boost partnerships with Asian countries. Leaders from India, Japan, Malaysia and Mongolia are expected to attend the forum. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for talks on investment and trade.
