Bulgaria: The land of roses
CGTN

Who doesn't love rose, the beautiful flower that speaks the words of love!

If you are a big fan of the flower, one country that you must visit is Bulgaria, the land of roses. The country has been related to the plant for centuries and today it's one of the biggest rose oil producers in the world.

The best time to see the beautiful rose fields in Bulgaria is from the end of May to the end of June. The Rose Valley is a famous rose-growing area and the biggest rose plantations in the country. It's also where the major rose-oil facilities are located. If you visit the valley in June, you can also join the month-long Rose Festival to enjoy the lovely aroma of the flower.
