The first "5G Smart Museum" app jointly created by Hubei Museum and China Mobile Hubei branch was released officially on Thursday.

"The museum in your pocket—5G Smart Museum" app gives users a chance to have close contact with national treasures and cultural relics at any moment.

In the app exhibition area of the Hubei Museum, users can take a picture of the antique with their cellphone and the relevant information will load automatically. For those who can't go to the museum, they are able to tour it through 360-degree panoramic views on the app.

Users can get information about service facilities in a second by using the "5G Smart Museum" app, according to Hubei Museum curator, Fang Qin.

The manager of China Mobile Hubei branch introduced the app showcasing the museum through 5G technology. They found a way to show local culture with advanced technology and provide their users with a quality service.

Currently, the Hubei museum has full 5G network coverage with 5G technology applied to several of its products.
