Wingsuit flyers from 11 countries glided among steep peaks and deep valleys on Thursday, putting on a breathtaking show for the spectators. On the opening day of the 2019 Wingsuit Flying World Championship, 16 participants jumped off the 300m high Yuhu Peak, then floated in the air to achieve a vertical drop of 990m between the take-off and landing spots. They were required to skim across the Tianmendong Square at a speed of above 160km/h and then turn into the valley to glide for 1.3 km before make a landing.
