Over the past week, a group of workers ventured into the deep mountain and picked the tender shoots every day, rain or shine, as the bamboo shoots would easily grow overmature. /VCG Photo

Fall is the best time of the year to pick bamboo shoots. Workers usually stay in the deep mountain area for 40 days in order to pick the freshest bamboo shoots. /VCG Photo
