HK street violence on the rise: Rioters set fire to MTR station

Hong Kong's central subway station was set ablaze by rioters on September 8. At around 4 p.m., the entrance to the Central subway station, which serves the financial district and is one of Hong Kong’s major transport hubs, was closed down due to rising violence and at around 6 p.m., the barricade was set on fire.
