Specialized pet products like drinks for dogs are no longer a rarity in China. To help pet lovers find good quality, nutritious, additive-free puppy food, Yang Wenliang, a dog lover and online vendor from east China's Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province, has tried hundreds of brands of dog food and treats himself. /VCG Photo
Now, Yang owns a pet food store on China's e-commerce platform, Taobao. Although the handmade products he sells have a short shelf life, they are very popular and can generate more than one million yuan (about 140,000 U.S. dollars) in monthly sales on average. /VCG Photo
Yang quit his previous job as a designer to champion quality pet food because he thinks the food for puppies on the market is not good enough. He believes, “If you love dogs, you should let it eat as well as yourself.” /VCG Photo
