Near Kanas Lake in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region lies a rather isolated and primitive village called Hemu. The locals still make a living from animal husbandry, keeping the simple and ancient lifestyle for generations. The whole village boasts a fascinating natural landscape, especially during autumn.
