There is more than one way to cook an egg, and Zeng Huosheng has also found many ways to carve one. From Hangzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province, Zeng has been practicing this delicate art for over six years on chicken, goose and ostrich egg shells. /VCG Photo
It usually takes Zeng three to five days to carve a chicken eggshell, and up to a month for more complicated work. As the shell is often only 0.3 millimeters thick, a tiny bit of distraction could ruin the entire work. /VCG Photo
The main subjects of Zeng's artworks are traditional Chinese culture icons, such as zodiac signs. Celebrity portraits carved on the eggshells include Mona Lisa and Chinese painter Qi Baishi. They lead viewers to a marvelous fantasy world. /VCG Photo
