Lai Junchen, a 30-year-old from Yong'an City, southeast China's Fujian Province, is a train driver, like his father and grandfather. In the past 70 years, three generations of this family have all contributed to China's railway development.

From steam, diesel to electric locomotives, China's railway has been developing rapidly due to people's hard work and advanced technologies they have developed. Working conditions for train drivers are improving as well.
