Hundreds of Nigerians are heading back home, following a wave of xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa. Over 600 people are said to have boarded free flights offered by a private Nigerian airline. The attacks have left some Nigerians struggling to make money and also caused a diplomatic dispute between the two countries. Last week, violent riots broke out in Pretoria and Johannesburg, targeting foreign-owned businesses. At least 12 people were killed.
