Shenzhen is located in south China's Pearl River Delta, bordering the Hong Kong SAR to the south. Some 40 years ago, Shenzhen was a small fishing village. A miracle happened when Shenzhen became a special economic zone in 1980, the first in China at the time. The city's economy soared, turning it into China's technology hub. Tech giants, such as Huawei, Tencent, and DJI, flocked into the city, keeping Shenzhen at the forefront of the country's tech revolution. /VCG Photo
