The auto industry in China will be more automatic, smarter and greener in the near future. China has remained the world's largest new energy vehicles (NEVs) market for three consecutive years, with around 777,000 cars being sold in 2017. The government expects annual NEV output to hit two million in 2020, and for NEV sales to make up 20 percent of the overall auto market by 2025.
