Hengdian in China’s Zhejiang Province is known as the home of the Chinese film industry. Seventy percent of the country's films and television series are shot here at Hengdian World Studios, creating thousands of jobs and boosting the local economy. The town is basically one big film set, complete with replicas of China’s famous streets and historical buildings. Expert thinks the success behind the Hengdian World studio is related to hard work of young filmmakers. And China’s film industry needs to appeal international audience with deeper theme and sound skills.
