Stretches of common seepweed have turned red, welcoming autumn at the Aibi Lake in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Most common seepweeds grow in saline-alkali soils in wastelands and wetlands.
