A Hong Kong MTR train with passengers derailed on Tuesday morning, MTR Corporation said in a statement. The incident occurred near Hung Hom station on the East Rail Line, the subway operator said. A subway car was found to be decoupled with another one and some of its doors were ripped off by the force of the impact. The passengers were evacuated from the train and led away by subway staffs to safety. The train service near Hung Hom had been suspended and an investigation is underway.
