Su Yan works as a train track flaw detector in north China's Hebei Province. Her detector team consists of eight female members, who are responsible for inspecting tracks and locating flaws so that they can be fixed in time. The job requires year-round dedication and poses challenges such as carrying heavy machines and patrolling in freezing temperatures. Su Yan tells the story of her "railway girl quad."
