At 3:31 AM local time on Saturday, multiple explosions erupted at the Khurais oil field and the Abqaiq processing unit in Saudi Arabia. The facilities are both owned by Saudi Aramco, one of the world's biggest oil companies. Though the Yemeni Houthi group claimed responsibility for the attacks, Saudi officials claim the 18 drones and seven cruise missiles were fired from a direction that ruled them out. Both Saudi Arabia and the U.S. also argue the Houthis lack the technological capability required to launch such a sophisticated attack. Iran has rejected allegations it was behind the attacks, saying it has nothing to do with it. But some questions still remain unanswered.
