Suzhou is often referred to as the "Venice of the Orient." The city's canals, stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed gardens make Suzhou a top tourist attraction. More than 60 gardens are kept intact in the city, and some have been listed in the World Heritage List, but Suzhou is also a thriving center of commerce in Jiangsu Province, with a growing population looking for new opportunities.
