Local procurators in southwest China's Guizhou Province have decided to arrest the former general manager of liquor company Kweichow Moutai Co Ltd Liu Zili on suspicion of taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said in a statement on Friday.

Earlier this week, the provincial anti-graft agency announced that Liu had been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) for serious discipline violations.

The case is being processed with further investigation.
