Ju Bin, a designer from south China's Shenzhen, has devoted himself to studying the application and innovation of Chinese culture in architectural space, expressing design ideas with personalized and unique visual language, and interpreting Chinese cultural elements with brand-new visual expression.

In his works, Ju fuses contemporality, culturality and artistry as design languages to express space. From the fusion and collision of tradition and modernity, one can find the inspiration of design, and pursue the essence of design in the interlace and harmony between art and life.

To seek the spiritual appeal of design culture in the combination of historical memory fragments and contemporary ideas.

How does one view a design or a concept? Ju divided it into three parts. The first part is targeting the traditional complexity. There is a complex way to deal with what is between modern and traditional, which is a thinking that targets contemporality, but it is also a prospect into the future.

The second part is to pay attention to the heterogeneity of space design in the design form, which is the process of thinking about the boundary transformation between different concepts, breaking inherent thinking and reorganizing logic.

The third part is the paradox of design spirit, which is about future prospects and adaptation; the contradiction resulting from it will break the existing mainstream design thinking mode and explore the unknown design field.

In the process of designing a space, Ju hopes to make all the concepts and ideas about the building itself, and then return to the idea itself, to think about the ontological appeal and value of the building.

China is experiencing a very important period of rapid development with designers' skills and experience being tested. Ju hopes designers can slow down and take their time when doing their job.

Self-thinking, the promotion of self-awareness and the senses can greatly help the design. This will allow more possibilities in traditional culture to be explored, and each design to be endowed with distinct individuality and vigorous vitality.
