September 20th was a good day to experience the stunning views of the snow-covered Meili Mountains.
The small speck of gold lazily appeared in a range of snow-topped mountains, where sunlight dressed the mountains in golden gauze.
Mount Meili is one of the most sacred mountains for Tibetan Buddhists.
Famous for Kang Karpo Peak, Yunnan's tallest peak 6,740 meters above sea level, thousands of devout pilgrims visit for worship and circumambulate the holy mountain in the winter.
