A baby hippo is called a calf. This little hippo was born in July to an 18-year-old hippo named Little Flower. The calf is in good health and weighs about 75 kilograms. Staff is not allowed to approach the young animal. Hence, its gender is still unclear.

The zoo is currently asking the public to submit a name for the calf.
