Sharing pictures online is a part of many people's everyday lives. But it may also let hackers control your smartphones, tablets and bank accounts. According to internet security experts, posing while holding your hand up in a peace sign could give away personal data information via fingerprints. One report says that when photos are taken with one-and-a-half meters of a visible fingerprint, 100 percent of the fingerprint's information can be disclosed. Experts warn people not to show their fingerprints in photos and not to use their fingerprints on machines for verification without carefully confirming the purpose. They also recommend using both fingerprints and passwords to ensure safety, instead of relying only on fingerprints.
