HK officer: Since petrol bombs are not fatal, why don't you try one?

Junior Police Officers' Association chairman Lam Chi-wai said violent protesters in Hong Kong threw 80 petrol bombs at the police on September 15.

"If anyone argues that this attack is not fatal, I would like to ask them to understand how it feels when hit by petrol bombs. If the rioters didn't use deadly force, we would be restrained from using tear gas or even batons. As police officers, how can we protect Hong Kong citizens if we can't even protect ourselves?"
