Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Carrie Lam is speaking to the press on the Hong Kong protests. During the past three months, the protests and escalating violence have shocked and saddened the Hong Kong people. On September 10, Lam hits back at foreign interference in HK affairs and called on all sectors of the Hong Kong community to work together to stop the violence. Lam said the rule of law is an important core value of Hong Kong and the HKSAR government will investigate all violent incidents according to the law.
