The UN Climate Action Summit is being held in New York under the theme "A Race We Can Win. A Race We Must Win." Officials and advisers are gathering to renew, and reinforce, their commitments to tackle climate change and curb greenhouse gas emissions. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is attending the event, which is taking place after climate strikes were held in a number of international cities to demand tougher government action against global warming.
