China's steepest escalators were tested by their manufacturer in east China's Zhejiang Province recently. The six escalators will be installed at the Badaling Great Wall Station of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway to facilitate passenger transfers at the railway station. After the tests, they will be delivered for a trial run in October.
