Lapland Fritillary (Euphydryas iduna) was seen nearly 4,000 meters above sea level on Mount Ararat in Turkey on August 7, 2019, by two experts, butterfly researcher Suleyman Eksioglu and wildlife specialist Emin Yogurtcuoglu. Lapland Fritillary was first spotted in 1970.
