On September 22, protesters gathered at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin under a "shop with you" demonstration. They sprayed water and glued stickers on the floor and vandalized the shopping mall leaving trash behind. Some Hong Kong residents voluntarily brought cleaning tools to clean up the stickers.
