China cruised to their second straight win of the FIBA Women's Asia Cup on Wednesday night, hammering the Philippines 104-57 in Bangalore, India.

After routing New Zealand 67-44 in the opening game, Xu Limin's side kept their opponents under 60 points for the second outing in a row.

China led 21-11 at quarter-time and 47-26 by half-time, then went on with the job in the third quarter to extend their lead. China's 20-0 run at the start of the fourth period gave them a 91-47 lead and the Philippines were looking as disjointed as they had in the game against Australia on Tuesday when the Gilas Pilipinas were blown away 123-57.

Guo Zixuan tallied 19 points and six rebounds, and Li Xuerui contributed 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Han Xu had ten points and 11 rebounds and Li Yuan chipped in with 10 points and six assists.

China will next take on Australia, who overcame a sluggish start to thrash New Zealand 82-44 earlier in the day, for the chance to finish top in the group and progress straight to Saturday's semi-final.
