Jaime FlorCruz says China has become more inclusive, providing more freedom and opportunities to women.

Having lived in China for nearly five decades, FlorCruz has become a formidable witness to many changes in the country.

He first arrived in China from the Philippines in 1971 for a three-week study tour. But due to the worsening political situation back home, FlorCruz got stuck in China. He went on to become a journalist for TIME magazine and CNN, covering China's highs and lows for over 30 years.
