A three-year-old girl was trapped between the metal bars of a window in her family apartment in east China's Zhoushan City.

She was playing by herself when she got stuck.

A fireman descended from the roof onto the ledge to rescue her, along with the help of firefighters inside the flat.

The girl didn't have any serious injuries.
