Thousands of anti-government protesters in Hong Kong have clashed with police. The demonstrators marched along streets in the city's downtown with some spraying graffiti on the walls and smashing windows. Law enforcers fired tear gas to disperse the crowd. Meanwhile, pro-Beijing demonstrators were also having their say near Victoria Harbor. They sang the Chinese national anthem to mark the upcoming 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
