"It's my great honor to join the National Day celebrations on behalf of HK police," said Sergeant Lau Cha-kei, also known as "Bald Sergeant Lau Sir" who went viral on Chinese social media via an image of him by holding a gun to protect his colleagues amid violent protests. Lau said he has two wishes to accomplish during this trip to Beijing; one is to watch the military parade and the other is to visit the Great Wall.
