Air defense, anti-missile weapons shown at China's National Day parade

The People's Liberation Army's air defense and anti-missile defense combat group took part in a military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China in Beijing on Tuesday.

It consisted of early-warning radar, surface-to-air missiles and field operation air defense missile formations.

The new generation early-warning radar can detect and locate jets and missiles, while the HQ-9B and HQ-22 ground-to-air missiles are able to intercept multiple air strike weapons.

Other equipment including HQ-12A, HQ-6, HQ-17A, HQ-16B missiles was also showcased at the parade.
