On the afternoon of September 28, more than 30 members of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions protested against the U.S.'s interference in China's internal affairs outside of the U.S Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macao. They stated that by establishing the "Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act," the U.S. is trying to intervene in Hong Kong affairs in the name of human rights.
