The National Day gala continues with a music and fireworks routine as dancers perform to the song "Good News From Beijing Coming to Border Villages."

The song debuted in 1976 and depicts the jubilant scenes in border villages across the country when news traveled from the capital announcing the end of the "Cultural Revolution".

The folk song features traditional melody from the Miao and Yi ethnic groups and is divided into seven parts.
