On HK police press conference, the Hong Kong Police commissioner Lo Wai-chung said that there were scores of rioters attacking police officers during protests in three places in Yau Ma Tei and Tsuen Wan on October 1. Some officers were beaten bloody. Police issued warnings but were defied by protesters. Therefore, they were forced to use gun to stop violent attacks, which is legal and reasonable.
