Hong Kong police officer 'Bald Lau Sir' invited to National Day celebrations in Beijing

Lau Cha-kei, station sergeant of the Hong Kong police tactical unit, nicknamed "Bald Lau Sir," was invited to attend China's 70th National Day celebrations. He came with nine of his colleagues from the Hong Kong police. Lau shared his feelings on Chinese social media platform Weibo.

"The military parade is not just showcasing national power, it is also national education. It will let young people understand how China's achievements today are achieved."

Lau got famous on Chinese social media with an image of him aiming a gun outside the Kwai Chung police station to stop the violent Hong Kong protest.
