Led by the country's chief nuclear negotiator Kim Myong Gil, a DPRK delegation has arrived in Sweden's capital of Stockholm for denuclearization talks with the U.S. This came after Pyongyang announced it had successfully test-fired a new submarine-launched ballistic missile on Wednesday. The test was by far the most significant since Pyongyang first began a dialogue with Washington in 2018 to give up its nuclear weapons. Earlier U.S. President Donald Trump brushed off DPRK's test, saying that planned nuclear talks with Pyongyang will go ahead. Meanwhile, The UN Security Council will likely meet behind closed doors on DPRK next week.
