The number of captive-bred giant pandas at the conservation and research center in Sichuan has reached 312 – the world's largest giant panda group in captivity, according to the latest statistics the center released last Monday. The captive-bred pandas at the center account for over 50 percent of the world's total captive-bred panda population.
