Team Jamaica claims gold in women's 4x100m relay with 41.44 seconds. Sprint legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce secured her ninth world title on Saturday in Doha as Jamaica won the 4x100m relay. The 32-year-old, who won her fourth world 100m title last Sunday, ran a storming second leg to put Jamaica firmly in the driving seat.

With 100m champion Christian Coleman and 200m champion Noah Lyles in the team, the U.S. men's team won 4x100m relay easily with 37.10 seconds, surmounting their own record in 2015 World Relays, 37.38, and came second to the fastest ever run by the Jamaican team led by Usain Bolt at the London 2012 Olympic Games, 36.84.
China's men's team successfully secured a seat in the 2020 Olympics by coming sixth in the relay, while the women’s team got canceled on their result due to a turnover when passing the baton from 3rd to 4th leg.

Sifan Hassan of Netherland made light of the doping ban handed to her coach Alberto Salazar to complete an historic 1500/10,000-meter double at the World Athletics Championships on Saturday as a host of stars celebrated golden repeat performances.
Hassan destroyed the 1500 meters championship record, which had stood for 16 years in what she admitted had been a "tough week" due to Salazar's four-year ban being announced in midweek.
"I did not discuss a strategy as I had no one to discuss it with," said Hassan.
"It was a very tough week and had a lot of things in my head but I have a good manager and he really supported me."
"I show the world I am a clean athlete," she added.
