National Day holiday: Beijing activities to make the most of the last day
By She Jingwei

Although the seven-day National Day holiday will end soon,  there are still plenty of places you can go for travel to make the most of your last day of the holiday. CGTN Travel will recommend some lesser-known but beautiful and quiet parks in the city that will allow visitors to get there and back in a day.

Liuyin Park

Surrounded by weeping willows and pavilions, the Beijing Liuyin Park is the only idyllic park in urban Beijing. During the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the park used to be an ancient palace and now features the building style of northern folk dwellings.
